What is the Community Council? The Community Council is a body elected by the people of the parish of Killeagh. The main role of this body is to address the concerns of the people of the community, and to take whatever action is necessary. The Community Council is elected for a period of three years. The current community council was elected in January 2011, and will end its term in December 2014. The Community Council is affiliated to Muintir na Tire, and adheres to a specific constitution which can be read Here. Sub-Committees We have operate a number of sub-committees. Each sub-committee will work to try and develop Killeagh as a community.
