Update As listed in our Community Diary, An Post advertised for a new post-master in Killeagh, and the close of date for applications was the 21st of January. It will probably take a few weeks for An Post to process the applications, but when a decision is made, we will post it on the website. March 18th. An Post today informed us that O’Neill’s Londis in Killeagh has been chosen as our new post office. Good luck to O’Neill’s in their new venture, and it’s great to have the post-office re-instated. The estimated date for opening the post office is mid-April. Mid-April With no fuss, our new post office has opened. Best wishes to O’Neill’s in their new venture.
